Still Rising!

Mr. English receives back to back “Rising Star” awards for 2016 and 2017 from Super Lawyers. Super Lawyers is an organization that rates outstanding lawyers who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only 2.5% of lawyers in the U.S. southwest region were selected. The award recipients are selected through nominations, independent research and peer evaluations. It is an honor to be named to the 2017 Southwest Rising Stars and recognized as a top attorney in the Southwest region.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mr. English, Legal Expert, on KFNX 1100 Talk Radio

In March 2017, Attorney Eric English was invited to be the legal expert on Independent talk 1100 KFNX radio show ‘A Call to Rights’ with host Steven Kates. Mr. English discussed how the right to own animals in Arizona is being infringed upon. As one of the very few Game & Fish Attorneys in Arizona, Eric is an expert on protecting and defending these rights. English selected to 2016 Rising Stars

In April 2016, Mr. English was named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers. Only 2.5% of lawyers in the state were selected. Super Lawyers uses a multiphase selection process that includes nominations, independent research and peer evaluations. To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less. It is an honor to be named to the 2016 Southwest Rising Stars.

Eric English 2016 YCBA President

Eric English is the new 2016 President of the Yavapai County Bar Association. Mr. English previously served for 2 years on the YCBA board and is honored to serve in this new position. Board positions are nonprofit and the YCBA president has many opportunities to serve the community, as well as provide continuing education, support and information to attorneys and associate members.

The mission of the Yavapai County Bar Association is to serve the community and enhance the legal profession by promoting the competency, ethics and professionalism of its members. For a full listing of the YCBA Board of Directors, view their website here.

Mr. English elected as YCBA Vice President

Yav-BarIn October 2014, the Yavapai County Bar Association (YCBA) elected Mr. English as Vice President for the their Board of Directors in 2015.  Mr. English previously served as secretary of the board.  Board positions are nonprofit, volunteer opportunities and Mr. English enjoys serving on the board to support and inform attorney and associate members, as well as the community.

In December, Mr. English and other board members held a toy drive and donated many new items to the Toys for Tots program.  The YCBA board also organizes and provides continuing legal education for the attorneys in Yavapai County.  In addition, they provide programs to help the public find qualified lawyers, resolve disputes and gain knowledge about their legal rights and responsibilities.

Mr. English elected to Board of Directors for Yavapai County Bar Association

Yav-BarMr. English was elected as secretary of the Board of Directors for the Yavapai County Bar Association (YCBA).  Elections were held October 2013 for all current Board positions.  YCBA is the voice of Yavapai County’s diverse legal community and works to support and inform their 210 attorney members and numerous associate members, as well as members of the public.

YCBA offers programs for attorneys that provide current knowledge and up-to-date tools to expand and enrich their practices.  They also have public programs to help the public to find qualified lawyers, resolve disputes and gain knowledge about their legal rights and responsibilities.   The mission of the Yavapai County Bar Association is to serve the community and enhance the legal profession by promoting the competency, ethics and professionalism of its members.
